Agree. Gene on the site admitted he likes the Banner Mstate(something about how the sun hits it), and as the logo is getting its tail kicked, he reminded this is just for entertainment, and making light of the results.

Can we start a poll on this site?

All three options are good ones. If the athletic department would just pick one of these and set it for 10 games a year. The other 2-3 games give us the other 2 options as special helmet combos. No need to do any others. Ever.

I almost have been converted, M over S logo, properly scaled on one side of the helmet and STATE spelled out on the other is what I would go with.

I would also put just STATE across the chest like the Montgomery game. The Spartans right now have the Spartan logo with outside stroke only. It looks good.

Hell, you could rotate between the three as the main logo each holding for a year and then switching to option 2 for year 2.
