Gotta love this.
Yancy posted tioday that his OM sources tell him that we broke a NCAA rule by bringing in him for his 6th official visit since he enrolled at East MS CC. You can only take 5 OV in two year period while attending the same junior college (even if they were deemed a non-qualifier the first time around). He said we didn't intentionally break the rule but "the NCAA will be notified about the situation."
Funny thing is, we were actually his 7th official visit. Who was his 6th? Let's see.
#1) 1/11/13 - Florida
#2) 1/18/13 - UNC
#3) 1/25/13 - Alabama
#4) 10/11/13 - Kentucky
#5) 10/18/13 - Tennessee
#6) 11/10/13 - OLE MISS?!
#7) 11/15/13 - State
Wonder how notifying the NCAA went.
EDA:
The latest from Yancy:
Reed did not bring his mother with him on his MSU visit last weekend. OM is not going to pursue the matter we discussed yesterday with the NCAA because they don't want Jarran being caught in the middle of it, and they want to show MSU that there is a better way to doing business than what they are currently doing
