Joe Dean Sr that passed away also called them at one time. He was the original "String Music" that Joe Jr took over.

I watched Joe Dean Sr. many times back in the day. He was a decent tv guy, but he was more entertainer than analyst. His favorite lines were "string music " when the ball hit nothing but net, and "Stufferino " when someone dunked. His son Joe jr. played basketball at State and was up for the AD when Byrne and Stricklan were hired. I know Joe jr. really wanted the State job but never got it. Should have been hired instead of Stricklan, imo.
