They wanted it to end faster, but that doesn't work if neither team is capable of making a 2PC in the first place.
By my count, there were 14 2-point conversions attempted across the final 7 overtimes, almost all of which would have been game-winners, but only 3 were converted.

It blows... I'd rather they just have 2-3 OTs then call it a frickin' Tie...

New rule: If two teams attempt 5 straight 2PCs each and not a single one of them is converted, both teams get the loss.

Also, they alternated ends of the field for every OT period, dragging it out even more.

Yeah I missed that rule change. Shorten the field and give them three chances or something, not this.
