Whoever this writer is pumps out some content, as he followed up with this beauty:

To summarize both (and a comment from a reader): Mullen doesn't recruit well enough to provide depth to increase his margin for error regarding injuries or bad playmaking/calling, and Grantham is not a premier DC. Writer provides stats around what it would take from a defensive prospective to win a Natty, and the amount of points a Grantham defense gives up is never going to allow for that. Also, from a reader - Hevesy sucks.

Even casual Gator fans are starting to wise up that Mullen doesn't like recruiting and his loyalty to assistants is preventing him/them from winning big.

Extra point - I found it humorous the writer says Mullen burned some goodwill with the fans after trying to parlay jumping to the NFL for a raise, when there was no interest from the NFL.

Reading that and the Grantham article I came to the following conclusions:
1) UF is a bunch of spoiled bitches. I knew that before, and I really just like saying and can't wait for Kirby to beat that ass next weekend.
2) The writer could swap UF with MSU and fit right in on an MSU message board analysis of Don Merlot, because he was spot on.
3) Todd Grantham has joined the Country Club.

I do wonder if Mullen has an issue with separating from the Country Club because he's loyal or he knows no one wants to work for him? Or, do they just have some dirt on him and he can't let them go? Will someone that knew him while in Starkville please provide an answer to this for me? He's been gone long enough...
