I don't think the Jags will hire another college coach. Meyer is gonna leave a sour taste in their mouth.

Mullen is too close to Urban in style to get the Jags job. But, I think most NFL teams will pass on him. Nothing screams Pete Carroll or Jimmy Johnson about Mullen.

Would have to be an offensive coordinator first and he wouldn't do that.

I think NFL teams are going to be hesitant of college coaches that rule with an iron fist making the transition to the pros. You have to be much more judicious in how you light into players unless you already have a ton of credibility. I think that would be a hard transition for Mullen. Maybe if he got to step into a team with a roster that doesn't have many trouble makers and already has strong player leadership.

Mullen has been gone from State for 4 years. Most of us don't hinge on everything that goes on in his life. With that said, I'm 99.9% sure he isn't on either of their radar screens. Possibly if he'd won any title besides a Covid year SEC East Championship. Good grief...

How and why did Kiffin leave the NFL?

He didn't get along with Al David and acted like a dipshit.
