I'm no fan of Winston the person but he does have talent. Payton has obviously "hitched his wagon" to Winston and if Payton can somehow get rid of the bad decisions and maximize Winston's talents he'll be considered a genius. Otherwise he'll just be a good coach that should have won more Super Bowls with Drew Brees.

My only life support to the NFL was the Saints. When Winston became QB I was done with the NFL. I will tune in every once in a while to watch and probably watch a few play off games that's about it.

With a passer rating over 100, and on pace for 40 td 10 int. Oh, and he's missing 2 all pro olinemen and both starting WRs. Dumb thread is dumb

Winston is just not a great QB. Is he talented, yes. Is he a winner, not really. I feel like he isn't the guy you need to win you a game, but if he manages it well the other stars can win it for you. He just has always seemed mediocre to me.
