Since a game one struggle against La Tech was clear evidence we're a weak team, I'm sure the smart guys claiming Kentucky is significantly better than us will draw the same conclusion from a week three struggle against FCS Chattanooga. Surely that take is coming any moment now.

Not anymore at least. They used to be right below the SEC, just a few NFL guys on D away from actually competing for a championship. But that was partly unsustainable due to their multiple Heisman QBs, and Reilly isn't the same coach as Bob Stoops. That's the part the media pretends isn't true- they don't have the same coach anymore and are trending down hard. They'll stay a top 15 team but they won't be competi g for the playoffs
