The whole video is great. But, the touchdown to Wallyworld was the perfect call. The breakdown starts at like 35:30. Rodgers had zero chance to run that ball in for a touchdown.

People have asked why he didn't run it in because the play took so long to develop. I think that's all.

It took so long to develop he actually missed his window to run and the defense lost sight of their coverage. That is how behind Will was on the throw. So behind people started to get open again after they realized the whistle wasn?t blown.

Where was he supposed to throw it @LordMcBuckethead? If you watch the film breakdown of the play his hesitation towards running pulled the defenders they didn't just forget who they were covering

Didn't watch the video, but Wyatt loves him some Will Rogers!

He hesitated too late to run it, and that has been his issue. Some of that is that we have been programmed by Relf, Dak, and Fitz to know when that window to run actually happens. By waiting, he is allowing the next throwing windows to get there, but we just haven?t seen him throw people open yet. It?s coming.

Edited to add, the pressure he added to the defense by starting to run made the entire difference in that play. It harnessed all of the advantages of the RPO and put the defense into a lose lose scenario. Forcing them to make a decision. Giving us not 1 but 2 wide open receivers in the end zone. Great play, but the run was there, he was just 1 second late on bringing down the icons and running it.

I would also like to say, this all happened in 4 seconds and Will doesn?t have the benefit of diagnosing the play with the instant replay.

Man, that first possession 3rd and 5 caused me so much grief. If Rodgers completes that pass, it?s easily a TD. I lost my cool after that blunder.

Agreed! The take away from that game for me was that we had a lot left in the tank and miss-fired more than they stopped us.
