So since we're in the doldrums of the athletic calender and I really don't want to see another COVID thread I thought this would be an interesting topic. What's the most you've ever paid for a ticket to an MSU Sporting Event? Can be football, basketball, or baseball.

Mine would be 2014 @LSU for football. Paid $200 a ticket to sit right behind our band in Tiger Stadium. Would 1000% do it again for that experience.

You couldn't just pay to park in the parking garage and watch from your car in the outfield?***

I ended up paying over $200 a ticket for Game 3 of the CWS Finals. Would have waited later in the day for prices to go down if I could have, but our cell service in downtown Omaha had been very bad all week so to be safe I had to figure something out before we left the hotel around lunchtime that day.

Paid about a grand total for Omaha championship series. Think game 2 was the most expensive around 450. Got lucky on game 1 at about 250 and 300 for game 3.

Non State event I paid 6 grand for a pair of founders club tickets for a Cowboys home game in 2016.

I believe when you work out the cost of skybox tickets, they work out to be around 5k per seat for the season.

In 1999, I paid $450.00 for two Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Third row from the front.
I would have GLADLY paid $500.00 to have watched the final game in Omaha.

Can't remember how much ABOVE face value I've paid but what I do remember is LSU at Davis-Wade was sold out (still under Mullen) and I was hanging out around the stadium looking for tickets along with what seemed like 10,000 LSU fans looking for tickets also - A fellow DAWG saw my shirt and quietly motioned me over to him. He offered me the two tickets well UNDER face value to to keep from selling them to the corndogs ... I ended up giving him at least face value for the tickets as well as my eternal gratitude .... thanks again Dawg whoever you were because you are definitely true Maroon
