Put downs like this are just a way of depersonalizing someone so they can feel good about bullying someone.

I agree. I technically qualify as a millennial. I don't fit the dumb stereotypes for one. My parents would qualify as "Boomers". They're really good people. I hate any broad generalizations. Unless we're talking about Ole Miss fans. Then, all of the negative stereotypes are always true. HA!

ETA: Well, I do have a bad habit of generalizing the left, even though several of my closest friends are in that group but they don't fit a lot of the stereotypes either. I need to fix that about myself.
