It will be close.... Hot, Labor Day weekend, dove season, already down sales, bad opponent. All adds up to crappy attendance

We normally sell 40 to 45 k season tickets. I'd say we are easily down 10k this year. Im out after 20 years:I had 11 season tickets but will watch at home this year. As you get older it gets harder and harder to justify hours long drives, eating, getting to the parking area, walking half a mile to the stadium, 20 minutes in line at the metal detector, 20 more minutes to get in the seats, 5 more minutes running off a holes who are in your seats, etc. I asked my crew if they wanted tickets and 8 said no. Families with kids who want to play soccer, t ball, etc and just don't want the hassle when they can sit at home and watch it on a 65 in TV. Covid killed a lot of things like this.

First game of the year I would predict 50K then after that it depends on how we look, especially on offense. If we win the first 3 games LSU will be a sellout. If we lose any of the first 3 then attendance will be mediocre. We need something positive to happen on the field to get attendance back. 25 thousand fans traveled to Omaha to watch our baseball team play in 100 degree weather. If we have a good product our fans will show up.

I?m thinking 45-50 for La Tech and 55 for Nc State. Night game against a decent opponent
