I watched the 1st quarter of the Super Bowl last year. I turned on to the saints a few times but that is it when it comes to the NFL. This year as long as that guy is QB I will not tune in at all.

Jameis is who people assume will start and I feel like he is the best option of the two guys, but I do wonder if people are underestimating the man crush that Sean Payton has on Taysom Hill. Do not be surprised if Taysom is your Week 1 starter. I think both guys are backup caliber QB's and the Saints messed up by not drafting a QB early in the last couple of drafts. You knew Brees was on his way out the door and the guys you had waiting in the wings to take his place were a dude with questionable (at best) character who was mostly a flop in Tampa, and a 30 year old pet project who is not an NFL caliber passer.

They will go as far as Kamara and the defense carry them this year. Everyone wants to talk about the QB situation understandably, but even if that gets figured out, the WR room is a disaster. With Thomas out (an entirely different conversation that can be had) this is maybe the worst group of receivers in the NFL.

It will be a great season if they make the playoffs as the 6 or 7 seed with the QB and WR rooms being what they are. I am expecting them to finish with a losing record and be looking for a new QB in the draft or in free agency next year.
