It's Pep Talk time. Whether your a bible thumper or not, there is an interesting Bible Verse in 1 Chronicles Chapter 11. To paraphrase, it says the following: Benaiah chased a lion into a pit on a snowy day and killed it.

If that is all you knew, it probably blew your mind. Think about it. Ordinary men don't chase lions. And they for sure don't fight them in close quarters (in a pit) under adverse conditions (on a snowy day).

But here is what else you need to know about Benaiah:

The Bible says that Benaiah was one of King David's Mighty Men, thirty-seven men who were specially trained to fight along side King David. Think Delta Force. Later Benaiah would serve as the Chief of King Solomon's Army.

The point is he was well trained and built for the fight. DUDE EFFECT SO ARE YOU!!

Chase that lion into the pit and bring me his head!!!!

Was he one of the guys David sent to war because he knew he was sending the dude to die, because he wanted relations with his wife?
Either way, I like the lion story.

You are thinking of Uriah the Hittite and his wife Bathsheba. He is the one King David had killed so he could get his wife.
