Not being satisfied with giving us the easiest regional, super regional and weakest side of the CWS bracket in history while pairing Ole Miss with probably the best team to not win the Natty, Cohen has now summoned thunderstorms to produce a late start and reduce the rest period of our opponent tomorrow. My admiration for the Intense Bastard has soared these last few weeks!

I will say this. They?re basically playing a scrimmage in front of a dead crowd. The Dude Effect in prime time has the ability to change things.

I still think a team that simply "shows bunt" will make any defense pucker up. You don't necessarily have to actually bunt, but take some of your faster guys and have them show bunt on the first pitch. Get in the heads of the defense and pitcher. Then look for a mistake. You see these players melting in pressure situations. Just showing bunt will put some additional pressure on a team.

Uva has a big footprint in that area. As well as Vandy. We can recruit that area for sure. But here?s the thing, the numbers really aren?t that big as far as prospects compared to your home area. 50/50 at this point. McDonnell told coach before the series he thought uva had one of the top bullpens in the country. A bullpen we haven?t seen much of. Balanced against a guy we?re about to see for the third time. Like I said, 50/50.
