We just struggled for 7 innings with a guy who was 0-5 on the season, but he had a live arm; Vandy has lots of guys like that, plus the pedigree of having been there before and won it all. Our Coaches will do the right thing. We will see Hardy Friday and I like our chances to win and going into the Championship series Monday against NC State. We haven't over pitched anyone so far except Sims did come in to get finally 4 outs. The thing is we just need to get rolling at the plate, score runs and let's win this thing! The end.

Yes and this is why pitchers throwing on short rest in the postseason have such a poor win/loss record. The era is higher, batting average allowed higher and every other metric to measure success in pitching drops dramatically.
