He gave us a full inning worth of outs via the bunt including 2 vs Mac. And pitched to the SEC Player of the Year with first base open. And subbed in a relief pitcher who hadn't pitched in a long time. Coaching matters.

Yeah well said. O Connors a great coach but even the best screw up and he did.

Absolutely. You do not bring a drop guy in to pitch to the LH SEC POY. And then throw a spinning slide! Lol

It's funny but when om played uva in 2014 same situation came up for om. Second and third uva best hitter and a one run lead for om. Bianco elected to pitch to the guy and he hit one off the right field wall to give uva the win. I guess o Connor didn't remember bianco screw up and he did the same thing lol

Yep that's it! I laughed and laughed at bianco over that one. Baseball 101 never let the other teams best player beat you in a game winning situation
