He's just not the same guy as last year. I wonder if he doesn't have some kind of nagging injury. Not enough to shut him down but enough to mess with his velo and command. Either that or it's all just mental.

I think he needs to spend time in weight room. Don’t know his diet but I’d look into that as well.

It was an accurate take at the time. He turned cold in Omaha for his first several at bats....glad he snapped out of it at the perfect time. Youre welcome, ha.

By the way, I think you took my post the wrong way. I said it after he got out for the 2nd or 3rd straight time (and looked bad doing it), and I meant it like "great, Allen turns ice cold (tonight) when we need him most (in Omaha)". But I think you took it as me saying "Allen always turns cold in the biggest moments". Maybe I worded it poorly, but I clearly know he's mr clutch all season, so I assumed it was clear. I hate when people bring up old posts in a game thread bc people are emotional and some (clears throat) do things for reverse effect. Sue me. Glad it worked out. Sorry I offended you., bud
