Best deal w/o breaking the bank. Using only for causal use. I had iPad 3 which hasn?t worked in a couple of years.
What u geeks or nerds got?

i have owned many.....ebay has good refurbs as does amazon if your a lower end user. Or just go to the apple store for $329 and get a new one. I don't recommend going below 32 gig.

You can buy an iPad Air or a new iPad 8. Those two will handle anything that you want to do. If you want to get into more advanced video rendering and photo processing, I would suggest an M1 iPad Pro. That’s what I currently have. The only problem is a moderately priced M1 iPad Pro 12.9 inch will run you close to $1700.

I?d just go grab the $299 2020 iPad on Amazon. If it?s just casual use you won?t need to extra power of the air or pro

Agreed. Casual use 299 is good enough.

Gonna order the 2020 Gen 8. Has 32GB for $299. Birthday present my wife is getting me. Rather read ED on 10.2 screen than my phone. I’ve missed my iPad.

I've got a iPad2 and never have used it much. I prefer my MacBook Pro laptop. I took the iPad on a trip once and used it to watch television through the Dish Anywhere app - it worked pretty well.
