You see this happen pretty often. Team loses a close game in the opener that they feel like they should've won, then they get run off the field in their second game.

Auburn 2019, Washington 2018, heck it kinda happened to us in 2007. We blew a 4-0 lead against North Carolina and then Louisville demolished us a couple of days later.

Yep…if we had lost after that blown strike 3 last nite we’d be in same boat.

I’m assuming the spin will be that UM took so much out of them that they had nothing left.
