This is a reason to expand the playoffs in all money making sports.

I think it will change baseball the most. Football and basketball already have lots of money (just under the table). Vandy shows what giving everyone money in baseball can do. Now the 11.7 may not matter....

Amateur sports has been gone since the 90s. Only thing that is different is that now the players may be able to make money, like every other student, while in college. The NCAA wasn't fairly proactive over the last decade to help with the billions earned but not shared. It starts with the BS transfer limitations. It continued when schools are making millions upon millions off of tickets. The entire situation got too big to ignore for much longer.

I mean if schools were breaking even on football, and the focus was to have regular STUDENTS play these sports in lieu of people that can't even read on the team..... then it would have stayed amateur
