But I thought that we couldn't even get prospects to visit?

They didn't need that to fill it. It's going to be full.

That was one of the complaints we have been hearing wasnt it?

Do you think many of those Alabama guys are going to see state or are they taking advantage of a chance to see Alabama?

Coach34

both

both

I would think it's the same when we go over there, our Mississippi guys are there to see both. Anways you never know they might just like DW. Bama can't sign them all.

We need everyone to be there. There's no excuses- it's on a Saturday, it's an "interesting opponent", we'll probably wear maroon and white uniform.

Do we bring other sports prospects to these games or is that against the NCAA rules?

Holy 17ing shit!! Wow I don't think I've ever seen this strategy before. Haha that is an insane list. We are hosting a small army. Will the players feel lost in the crowd or part of something big time?

We bring football prospects to basketball games all the time. People were well aware of who was at each game too. I definitely heard "We want Chris Jones" chants last year.

I point to what happened at The Library last year as what happens when you get a ton of good ones to visit at once. Not saying we will have the same results, but it has worked for others so why not?

Is Corey Thomas still coming even after committing to TN ? I've also heard Jarran Reed is visiting... Mississippi JUCO DT that picked Florida over Ole Miss last year but failed to qualify.

Dontae Jones? Boy I bet he's good in summer school. Looks like most of Hoover High will be there.

I doubt that Cory Thomas shows up in Starkville just a few days after committing to UT. Any time we can get a guy like Marlon Humphrey on campus is huge.

The actual complaint as I've made it deals with Official Visits -- aka prospects that are seriously considering us and have us at the top of their list -- and our lack of planning in that regard. Not who is coming to games unofficially.

Regardless, it's great to get all these guys on campus. The Bradley guy from Cory Thomas' highschool is a prototype fullback -- which is exciting to me... Wish we would recruit one out of JUCO as well. That is one position we should have never phased out. Not saying there has to be scholarships set aside for these guys(unless they are worth it) -- but we need a couple of them on roster.

The 2014 list is as expected mostly. Hope Cory shows up. The 2015 and beyond lists are exciting -- and we REALLY have to make up ground with those guys this weekend. Hopefully, we can do that. By my count, we're going to have 12 of the top 14 in MS(among the guys already evaluated). Actually basically probably have all of the top 20 other than the Hibbler kid that's committed to OM and Trail that's committed to Louisville. That is HUGE. Got to make a great impression...

How can we get the message to the students so they understand how big this is? We don't have to win (of course that'd be amazing) but basically just having a party in the stands the whole game would work wonders for us.

Bring your flasks, kids! (No driving)

I think they've already got the message and the frats have something special planned. Don't want to give specifics -- lest Bracky show up uninvited and stand around playing fun hater all night...

No shit, we really need the students to help make this a big weekends especially late Saturday night after the game. I don't have any students that follow me on twitter I don't think, but I'll tweet something out and maybe if several of you guys retweet it, it can make the rounds.

Good deal. Somebody like the Strange Brew guy needs to work his twitter skills for the next few days, too. Make people feel like they'll be missing out on a lot of fun if they're not there.
