Yes sir. And like I said then and will always believe the sect only matters to teams fighting for a postseason birth. If your seeds locked up it means just getting your teams some reps and hoping no body gets hurt(see arky losing their #2 starting pitcher and slavens til the supers). The sect may have literally cost arky a nc.

The SEC really should give the top four teams at least the option of sitting out the SEC Tournament.

Unless you are a bubble team and steal a bid by winning it like we did in 2005 it has very little impact on the postseason resume.

Teams either leave with a bad taste in their mouths or a decimated pitching staff.

I was at every game of that regional and had made plans to go to Omaha. I still have nightmares about that cat from North Carolina that beat us in the first game against them. He threw almost nothing but changeups and braking balls in the dirt and off the plate and we couldn't lay off them. And Bobby Reed balling out to get us to the final. That was a great team that didn't even get to Omaha.
