Since November 14, 2009 only one team who played Alabama won a football game the following week. That was unfortunately LSU beating Miss State.
However, following the Alabama game we will play Arkansas, who is not nearly the team we are. I say we put a speed bump in all these bammers hopes to keep ruining football for the rest of us!

What say you?

Sat, Sep 21 SMU Kyle Field (College Station) 6:00 p.m. 42 - 13 (W)
Sat, Sep 28 Arkansas * Fayetteville, Ark. 6:00 p.m. 45 - 33 (W)

2012 TAMU

Sat, Nov 17 Sam Houston State Kyle Field (College Station) 47 - 28 (W)
Sat, Nov 24 Missouri * Kyle Field (College Station) 59 - 29 (W)

In both cases, their next game was non-con, but they also won their next two games, the second of which were conference games both years.

I wasn't counting those non con games.
But I say it's a 60% - 40% chance us over the pigs

Yeah, the research wasn't done fully on this one. For instance, Ole Miss is not the only team Alabama has played all year who then played someone the following week. And even when looking at those follow-up games, it looks like the only one that was an upset was SC losing to Kentucky.

So I don't think it means much except that usually the teams Bama beats also play a superior opponent the following week as well.

ETA: They were still a year away from being in the conference, but Arkansas did beat Texas A&M the week after playing Bama in 2011.

Just saying, I don't think this means as much as it seems like it does.

The stats that I researched are perfect. Don't know why you can't see that... Derp.
