Truth is, you could take a lot of the top 25 teams and put them in the SEC West and they would have a similar record. It is a brutal division. You know, the one that produces a National Champion every friggin year.

We ARE a lot better than our record shows. Losing to LSU and A&M and teams like that would happen to them, too. If Auburn throws an interception on that last drive or gets a crucial penalty or just doesn't get lucky and things are way different. Less turnovers at SC and we get a big upset win.

We are just a few plays away from being right in the hunt. Some years, it just happens. We need to understand that you can be a very good team and have trouble in the SEC West. It doesn't mean your coach is stupid or your players don't care. It is just a tough, tough schedule.

I would love too see Florida St. play who we have played and have Alabama coming up.
