Our CWS bracket would be Texas, Tennessee, TCU, and Mississippi State. 2-3-6-7

Other side would be Arkansas, Vandy, Arizona, and Texas Tech. 1-4-5-8

You don't watch much softball. That was as good as you'll see. The baselines are shorter than baseball pitching distance. That's one helluva play with a fast runner coming down that line.

Good Lord people..

Who cares if it was a "holy shit" play or not? It was a good play in a critical spot in the game. A damn good game at that.

And no one cares if you don't care about softball.

My comment wasn't even directed at you, but okay. I just don't see the sense in arguing if a play is worthy of "holy shit" status.

Sorry. Didn't think I was arguing just having an opinion. None the less it was a great play that won them a game. That's good stuff either way

This is what I don’t like about softball...and not to start a whole thing...but really good plays are made out to be some great feat of physical awesomeness, when in reality they should stand alone as what they are, A great play by tough minded and gritty athletes. Nothing more nothing less. Now we all know the reason for this...and this has been the case since way before the wokeness that is current day America.

To me that takes away from the athletes as it is done in such a patronizing way. If you doubt what I’m talking about just sit down and watch a game on tv. These young ladies are great committed athletes that deserve respect for their level of play, but it’s made out to be so much more.

I can appreciate a great play, but softball base distances is a damn joke. Seriously. You can scorch one to 2nd base and beat it out easily to first.

How was it a perfect game with a runner on third? Or was she on second prior to the tapper back to the mound. No one knows, because Softball has 12 foot base paths.

Different game. AL/UCLA was the perfect game.
The other game with the dive play was JMU/OSU.
Been a great WCWS! FSU came back and win in the 6th/7th today. OK/UCLA tonight is the 1 vs 2 seed in the losers bracket.
