He's only playing because the original starting SS had defensive challenges, the original starting 3B abandoned his post, and the next experienced MIF on the roster is worse on Defense and Offense. He's a freshman and will get better. Polk says Forsythe's future is very bright.

But have you forgotten Gunner Halter, John(?) Holland, and Tanner Pool in recent years. Those were some non-hitting lads and all upperclassmen transfers.

Strictly based on matchups I would probably rather play VCU tomorrow. We would likely see a freshman righty from them as compared to a veteran lefty from Campbell. I also think Campbell is the older and more experienced team. Probably less likely to crack under the pressure of The Dude than VCU is.
