A lot a talent on the court for both teams. UK is huge, my gosh, they are long, tall and athletic.

Yep -- but the more mature team is taking them to school right now on playing team basketball... Have caught bits and pieces of a bunch of games today.

LSU is OK. Not quite as good as I expected them to be.
South Carolina is MUCH improved. Could have easily taken down Baylor today...

USCe still without a good player (Ellington) until football done with.

He'll be a good role player -- but won't be nearly the key for them that he's been in the past...

Julius Randle is the type of freshman that UK just didn't have last year.

The younger team has just tied it up with 4:45 left!

Think we could even beat them in a free throw contest.

50% FT shooting, 18/36 in a 4 point loss, I diagnose this as Stansburyitis

Officiating was questionable down stretch. Two Mich state players collided, sandwiching a Uk player who was in best position for rebound (3 min left) and the foul was called on UK. Next MSU possession a block was called on UK, when UK forward had clearly established position 2 steps before MSU guard drove on him.

Only watched last 7 minutes but officials would have been better off in the stands.
