If any of you fellas have family members who paid the ultimate price for the USA, thank you. May we always honor the fallen.

Big salute to all those who paid it all. Wish everyone in this country respected the freedom that those men provided for us all today and the sacrifices that all have to make during times of war. God Bless all who serve and the families this service affects.

Not a family member but a family Friend, James Touchet from Biloxi, Notre Dame High School, Who was a MSU OLineman in the Early 70's. He was killed when His navy trainer crashed in a lake in Alabama. Also to at least one soldier who was a student at MSU who was killed in Iraq.

Yes, very true William Tecumsah Sherman. That also applies to the CSA soldiers.

I did not know JJ but did know his daddy well. Jimmy Touchet owned a beer parlor in Pascagoula catering to the younger crowd. JJ lived with his mother in Biloxi. I spent many a night in Jimmy's beer joint while in high school. I remember how tough it was on Jimmy to lose JJ.

Had family fight in every war back thru the Revolution, including my grandfather and five of his brothers in WWII. Through all the wars, only one didn?t make it home - Lt. Robert Gerald Hunter, shot down in his F-105 and KIA in Laos on May 25, 1966.
55 years ago this past week.

Thank you to all we’ve lost.
