Both have us matched with Stanford. Seems like their loss to Oregon State yesterday saved us. Hopefully the committee doesn't screw us and our guys don't take it for granted.

I'm more worried about getting through our regional. USM will be no slouch and I have a feeling we will see them. But it's great that we might have a Super in Starkville now if so

As much as they may want that, I don't think they're going to be able to get Ole Miss up into the top 10 seeds, and unless somehow we are #6 or higher, that's the only way we match up with them in the Supers.

I could see the Committee bump us up to #7 and give Ole Miss the #10 to make that happen.

If they're smart they'd rather have us lined up to where we could potentially have both fan bases in Omaha...but that would be a lot of assumptions

Dont see it happening.

We will likely be a 7 or 8. OM has 19 losses which likely has them as a 12 seed. They may be able to squeak out an 11 but sitting at 13 in RPI gives them a very slim shot at a top 10 seed

This is likely to be the scenario. They've got to stymie the SEC somehow.

They will but I think I see them matching up vs Vandy in a SR before us. A 5 vs 12 accomplishes the same thing.

That would be really interesting too. Considering they’ve beaten Vandy 3 out of 5 times.
