Why does Tennessee have the tie breaker over us? We didn?t play head to head but we have a better RPI, overall record and strength of schedule. I am not understanding what metric is giving them the 2 seed. I just really don?t want to have to play Florida

They are the East division winners so they automatically get the 2 seed

They beat Arkansas once and we didn't. And even if we had the better record, they'd still be the 2 seed since they're the #1 in the east.

As stated above, because they won the East but had we gone head to head w/them versus the overall winner they would've had the tiebreaker on us anyway. The went 1-2 versus the pigs.
