If Forsythe isn't going to make that play, then what is he good for? He's going to be a great SS for us, but I'm starting to think maybe we give Tanner Leggett a shot. We're too late in the year for our starting shortstop to have the fielding yips. If we wanted to have a SS that boots the ball, we should've left James there

It's pretty clear in the coaches eyes he can't play there at either right now. They have tried everything else. And to be fair, he doesn't pick well in inf/of pregame. Maybe he can get there. But ...

Make the routine plays. Has a little more pop. And I have a little more confidence in him vs SEC pitching. Also, he's a 4th year guy so brings more experience to the table. I'm good either way. Just lean slightly to Leggett but glad Lemo has the rest of the lineup correct except he needs to swap KJ and LT in the order. Can't have teams pitching around TA.

Yeah, was worried it wouldn’t get through 5. Field was getting pretty bad. Hate Debrule got an error from field conditions. He was been extremely solid in defense for us this year. Made a hell of play earlier to get the out in these conditions

I think we should use Spencer Price more than we have. Like 1 inning every weekend. He's a successful SEC closer who still has a pretty good slider. I kind of hope we go deep in the SEC Tournament so we can see some guys like Price, Patrick, Koestler, and of course Cerentola.

Cant take much away from the hame today. It’s hell playing in the rain and crap like we did. Fristoe looked good tho and Damn LT looked good at 1st besides the missed ball.
