I posted on the other thread but worth saying here also. I like the interview after game our players said they used the ole miss players social media posts after beating MSU during regular season. Said it was locker room motivation now they know the are a hot team.

This team all of a sudden has gotten red hot.

Last projection I saw from Monday had us in the Stillwater regional. Anything at this stage would be tough but that Oklahoma State would be hard to get through.

But we've gotten hot at the right time. We will be a tough out.

Pretty amazing run the last few weeks.. and props to them for whatever they did to turn it around

The glass half empty take is , wasn’t this team suppose to be one of the best we have had here in a while? I’m not a softball geek so I could be wrong with that take.

So does this team return anything for next year or will it be rebuilding? I know that one girl is the all time HR leader in MSU softball and might be for the SEC. Is she gone or get another year because of Covid?

Going to be a rebuild. And we haven't recruited well. Need some transfers. But we've done fairly well with transfers, so that's a plus.

Yes, But she needs to recruit better. We've struggled to recruit.

Poor coaching decisions killed us. Oh well. Nice run. Good to see three of my girls competing today (one didn't pitch). FL is as good a defensive team as you'll see. They're experienced and clutch.

Those girls fought the good fight. And, on the positive side, they defeated Ole Miss to get to today.
