Johnson has't been great lately. Not like earlier. I'm ok with it. I think our pen and pitcher usage is going to change a little to get things in order for post season. But I also believe we have basically a set plan and we use it minus a couple guys if we get a big lead.

As much as we give coaches grief on this forum, it is refreshing to have a coaching staff that you feel like will make changes and help these players improve. This is what I really long to see in our other sports, regardless of win/loss.

People like his stuff, he could click-in over the summer and watch out.

His pedigree is very good. Even Polk has mentioned him on the radio as a work in progress, but with very good up side.

If you take out the early season struggles, we are probably in top 5 in SEC. We have really turned the O on the past 3 weeks.

Even if you include the beginning of the year, we currently sit top 5-6 in several key offensive categories like BA, OBP, runs, etc. It's a solid offense with a very good top half, and the bottom half is starting to come around.
