I've seen his name thrown around to replace NMP should Cohen make a move to replace her. It was also mentioned by some that health issues were the reason he resigned. According to this article, that wasn't the case.

It was interesting to see that he has a daughter who lives in Mississippi. Based on the article, it doesn't appear he has much interest in getting back into coaching.

He has no need to get back into coaching. His wife's family is VERY wealthy. As in each kid has their own private jet wealthy. And on top of that, his wife hates Mississippi.

I hate to see LSU get Kim Mulkey and Baylor follow that up by getting Nicki Collen from the WNBA, and we are stuck with NMP. I wish the Atlanta Dream would offer their job to NMP.
