Don't be so aggravated about it. Most places I go in public still require it to enter their business. Plus, you'll see some people wearing them regardless of mandates or not. I have to wear one if I'm within 5 days of going offshore if I have to be out in public even though I'm vaccinated. Crazy I know. But it is what it is.

I know. Just irritating because I haven't worn one in town in two weeks and then the first store I go in after it's lifted made me wear one. Never mind the employee right behind her had her damn mask under her chin.

FWIW, I drove on base at Naval Air Station North Island and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego. The only place a service person or contractor can proceed without a mask is in their personal owned vehicle. From what I understand, a contractor or other non active duty member will have their ID card taken and refused access to any military facility for non compliance. Service members will get immediate non judicial punishment to start off with?

Nothing about judging people. I agree she has every right to wear a mask. A store has every right to keep a mask mandate. I have a right to not spend my money in a store that keeps a mask mandate. Especially when their policy is nothing more than virtue signaling because she evidently had no issue with her coworker having her mask below her chin which was doing her no more good than mine was me in my car.

Two days ago I go to a funeral in Meridian and no one had a mask on. Sat right next to people and I felt perfectly comfortable. Later that day I go to Winn Dixie and masks are required. Amazing the inconsistency around here. In Orange Beach no masks required in grocery stores or restaurants(at least the ones I went to). If people want to wear mask.....fine. But it's time for businesses to rip off the mandates.

So only vaccinated people can go without masks? For those so concerned, it you have had the vaccine then you have nothing to worry about (not totally true but that is what has been told). We have not needed masks for every disease since conception so no need to do it now.

You want science here you go. Any virus is .3 micron and the mask can't filter that even if it is 100% sealed which everyone knows they are not. The masks may be good for 25 micron. One micron BTW is .000039 inches and you can only see about 60 micron as the smallest particle. Want to try this out, have a smoker breath out through a mask and watch what happens - the smoke goes everywhere and you smell it. BTW smoke particles are also around the .3 micron.

Masked help if someone sneezes large water droplets but that is it. I could share more about the science of filtration but most don't care about the facts of that.

Ugh your original post was calling out anyone CHOOSING to still wear a mask even though the mandate is over. That's judging.
People have the right to do as they please... as you pointed out with your purchase.
