If he was fired because Lane didn't like him, sure. If Ole Miss fires you for misconduct, I'm thinking that might be bad enough that you won't get to jump back in at the same position, at least in DI.

From everything I’ve heard, it was about philosophical differences and nothing illegal. I always could be wrong, though.
