Average is pretty kind. I was pretty hard on Tanner’s play at first but it’s not like a huge difference in what we would get at this point. Hatch is struggling so bad right now that his defense is slumping.

Yeah I was nervous when PJ came in after the Auburn outing but he showed out. I watched on TV but if you ask me that was the best sports atmosphere since Covid began in any sport at any level. Awesome.

Preston Johnson is legit. And now we have Smith to follow Bednar tomorrow. I like where we sit right now especially after beating Hoglund. I didn't like that match up with MacLeoud just being honest. Home field was probably the difference tonight.

I also was at the game, loud and electric, crowd was into the game big time!

This team just seems to have the "it factor" Defense has improved especially James at third who made a couple hard hit balls look routine.

Johnson and Sims were both pretty nasty tonight. I listen to Polk driving home and Sims should be available Sunday. Btw, this staff is pretty much saving as many arms by not overusing them early and mid season. I was told that has been the plan because they no late in the season many of our top of the line pitchers will be fresh down the stretch and in playoff time. You guys quick complaining about Sims not getting enough work, things are coming together.

Timely hitting and clutch hitting tonight, let's hope bottom of the order can get going a little better Saturday. Should be a good close game again, tonight was fun to watch especially beating OMAHA team!
