Yeah well your wrong. See last weekend. Until we start driving the ball more consistently and get confidence back, we have to take pitches and work the pitcher. If we are going to make a lot of weak contact, then it has to occur after 5-6 pitches in the AB, work some walks and manufacture some runs. If/when we start hitting the ball on the nose, then you get more aggressive earlier in the count. But our confidence and execution is not close yet.

ETA We are taking a few more aggressive swings when we do swing, that’s creeping up as a positive and better approach

Why? If I?m starting Cumbest every game, let him play where it helps your defense the most. That?s in the outfield. Makes my OF a good bit stronger. TA is not a strong defender either way, so instead of having 2 weak positions, Cumbest strengthens the OF and TA gives you a known at 1st
