Even with the transfers out, there's no excuse for our roster not to get us to a ~6 seed or better next year, and NMP should be shown the door if we aren't.

She’s a great replacement for Morris, Wiggins, Hayes, Matharu, Cooks, and Mingo-Young. Can she play all 5 positions? At once?

It is a nice grab, but I'm not sure how on earth we can win in this league now.

Better chance than having 5-7 players that don?t wanna be here. I hate where we are but we have a coach under contract that should demand effort from players. Obviously that wasn?t happening this year.
I know many hate this but last time I checked the coaches run a program not players. If the coaches are that bad they will be fired next year but what if the coach isn?t all of the problem? You ok keeping these players and letting them make a coaching decision. If so are you ok when they hate their hire when times get difficult? Just a thought

Rickea Jackson, Myah Taylor, Ashley Jones, Jessika Carter, and now Jerkalia Jordan give us one of the 4 or 5 best rosters in the SEC. There's no excuse for us not to be a tournament team next year, and I don't mean as a bubble team, and if we aren't at least a plausible contender for the Sweet 16 next year, it's time for NMP to go. She's had her mulligan and won't get another one.

Jerkaila Jordan scored 29 points in a game against current #19 ranked South Florida (NCAA Tourney Team) South Florida is a team that beat Miss State this past season, nearly beat Baylor, and made a really good effort at trying to knock off #1 seed NC State in the NCAA Tourney. Also, she scored 22 points in a very close 47-51 loss in the semifinals of AAC Tourney against South Florida.

We will not win as long as Nikki is the coach.

Need some beef down low to be a top team.

Miss. State offered a 6-5 c/f from Trinity Valley Community College named Taiyanna Jackson (listed #3 overall junior college prospect) back in early December of last year.
In her last game against Jacksonville College a few days ago......
26 points
17 rebounds
4 blocks
3 assists

Also, Associate Head Coach Frreeman appears following on Twitter a 6-5. grad transfer center from Purdue.

Well, nice to get some good news out of the WBB program for a change.

It doesn't matter, we had McDonalds AA this year with other top talent and were worst in SEC. Now we get a Tulane transfer and think all of a sudden, we have coaching to get it done with less talent?

That doesn't matter. We had two big girls this year.

Jerkaila's high school basketball coach indicated in an article that she felt that this young lady was one of the best to ever come out of the stae of Louisiana. She indicated that she truely believes that she's on the same level as the great girls high school basketball players to come out of the state of Louisiana. Mentioned Cara "Moon" Ursin and Kelani Brown specifically.

Some of the of the supporting evidence of her coach's high opinion of her.......
- 4 straight state championships
- 4 straight state championship MVPs
- 2020 Miss Basketball award
- 2020 Gatorade Player Of The Year
- New Orleans Advocate's All-Metro...Most Outstanding Player in 2019 and 2020
- Finished as the #1 recruit in the state of Louisiana
- 2020 Jersey Mike's Naismith Girls HS Basketball Preseason Watchlist
- Scored over 2000 career points
- Numerous other awards, accomplishments in high school
- AAC Freshman Of The Year
- 1st Team All AAC (note...she's just a freshman)
- Numerous other awards, accomplishments at Tulane

Not to be overshadowed by Miss. State picking up of the Hayes sisters, Tulane transfer..Jerkaila Jordan is one of 3 freshmen to score 28 or more points in 3 straight games. The other 2 are Paige Bueckers (Uconn) and Caitlyn Clark (Iowa). Definitely keep an eye on this young lady Jordan. Coach McCray-Penson has spoken very highly of her, and her ability to come in and help the team win.
