Well, only watched the 9th inning of this one but just not enough offense. There should be at least one game in a three game series where you get at least into the 7 to 8+ runs area. We simply can't seem do it. We are a Top 20 team right now but I'm not sure I can realistically consider us a Top 10 team with this offense and the inconsistency on defense. Obviously its a long season but we have a lot of improving to do. Hard to believe we are already 4 games behind the Bears in the SEC standings.

Yep, nothing more frustrating in that 9th than to go hit, DP, hit. It's almost like the old adage that if you think you are going to hit into a DP then just strikeout. Even if Rowdey had just struck out we could have gotten Luke Hancock to the plate as the winning run.

My neighbor is a huge Razorback fan and he is hoping that we sweep them to reverse the jinx from last year. Reminded me about how worried we were after that series last year.

Damn, I got so drunk and pissed off that weekend. It's hard to believe how we went playing like that to kicking ass the rest of the way, outside Mizzou and SEC tourney. But then we just laughed our asses off en route to the NC. I would love for us to repeat this year...

it seems that sometimes our bats stay in the bag for two of these three game series and then all come out for one hitting fest at once ... just need to spread the hitting out over all three games.
