We're still using a decades old format which demands valuable time from the head coach and we're also just mailing it in with the production. There's the aTm game show. Two guys in folding chairs talking with grounds crew working behind them. Later, some guys moving chairs came within several feet of Mullen.

This show just sucks. Shut it down. Its a waste and an embarrassment.

This was followed up with game highlights set to generic techno music. No play-by-play, no commentary, nothing.

Terrible.

To be honest, how many people ACTUALLY watch the DMS.

Ha...just now a segment with John Correro interviewing Jameson Love.

JC mentioned that Bama would be coming to "Scott Field" next week. I suppose that is technically true. But who calls it that anymore?

Shows like that are for the old old crowd that can't figure out how to text yet. They serve a purpose. I do agree we need a complete overhaul in our video department though. Anything produced by MSU is just a total embarrassment to the viewers eyeballs.

Very true. If you make something right with good quality, people will recognize it.

Not as many people go to DNF as there could be, because the seating is shitty. When we build something good, more people will come. (Sorry, didn't mean to change the topic of your thread, but I thought it was a decent illustration.)

Have to say I have seen a few episodes of "The Season" and it's actually pretty damn good. I believe it has won some kind of award

It's not just the TV show, but also the weekly radio show that is outdated. In the old days these radio and TV shows were used as a way for coaches to supplement their salary. That's no longer the case. I agree about the format. I watched Bob Tyler and Jack stand in the endzone 40 years ago and do the exact same format. It's like the post game show with Wyatt and Gregory. It's two hours of reading scores repeatedly that everyone already has. Two hours of nonsense. It's not 1978. Today, scores and highlights are a dime a dozen. But this is OUR STATE.

I watched it once and hoped that I was the only person that saw it.

I can honestly say I've never seen the show and have no idea when it comes on or what channel.

Back in the day, the Rocky Felker Show was a great comedy. After several losses, we finally beat somebody and Rocky was on the show talking about how we needed to keep the winning streak going. One win is a dot, not a streak.

A video series published to YouTube in weekly installments disseminated through social media is not hard to do.

I'm a hobbyist and feel like I'm capable of producing better stuff with an entry-level DSLR, kit lens, and shotgun microphone.

Yes, A streak is what is in Perkins' underwear the 10th time he sees a play is called that takes him up the middle.
