I am fine with Howland coming back but he needs the basketball equivalent of an offensive coordinator. It is clear Alabama is playing chess and we are playing checkers. If you are going to try and live and die by midrange jumpers and feeding the ball into 50% free throw shooters to get fouled then you will never win consistently in the modern game. Lots of really smart people have done the math on this and we are doing the exact opposite of what they suggest we should do. Yes, some of how we play is personnel, but the Head Coach has to recruit and mold the team to the modern game.
