The only way to find someone to play is if you get a team that's in the same boat... which, is possible. Travel, etc become an issue for sure.

Didn't Tennessee Tech blast, literally, Ole Miss from their regional back in 2019? Wonder how their offense is now....

This might be best for us honestly. It does suck to lose a weekend, but it gives us another week to get Bednar healthy, a week to get Cerrantola's mind right, and most importantly another week to get the attendance/ticketing issues ironed out.

2018. They lost their coach to Rice and the bulk of that team and have been below .500 overall in the few years since then. Literally got within one win of Omaha and then the program pretty much fell apart.

Oddly - WVU and KSU are not playing, but WVU also not playing Marshall next Wednesday.

Cerantola doesn't need rest. He needs to pitch. If they don't play an official game, then definitely need a full blown simulated game to get the pitchers some work.

Looks like we are playing Kent State. Tenn Tech can't play us because of Covid contact tracing. Kent State who just played Tenn Tech apparently can play apparently, lol.

Looks like Kent State starts 3 RHP's so that's good for us.
