I’ve seen enough through two games to think we can be very good, tomorrow’s result won’t change that for me. I think Tech is the best team of the three we play this weekend so a loss wouldn’t really bother me and a win would be awesome. Just didn’t want to go out there and lay a goose egg, and we’ve already avoided that.

As expected, pitching will carry this team and our ceiling will depend on clutch hitting. Had it yesterday, not today. I think most of us have followed college baseball long enough to know that it’s a marathon and not a sprint regardless of how well or how poorly you start, so let’s all buckle in for the long haul.

Agree on all accounts. Tomorrow will be interesting pitching wise. The thing is I feel better about our staff knowing that Cerentola and Bednar are out and we have been fine.

One thing is that Harding came on strong after being told Hey you you up. One thing we do need to work on is our batters need to protect the plate. Too many called third strikes looking. The ump was giving the TCU pitcher a wide SZ especially the inside. Their staff knew it and we should've told our guys to work it. Only one time did we work the count which eventually led to a hit, and that was a great AB.
