Ole Miss will be pretty good next year because they're really good at QB.

HOWEVER....

They'll be worse on the OL, at WR, & at TE. They had two top 3 round difference makers at WR & TE this year they'll have to replace.

Plus, as someone said, Corral is a head case & Kiffin has never sustained anything, anywhere. So history & track record would suggest that the longer he's there the more likely the train runs off the rails.

My guess is that they win 8 or so, Kiffin leaves for a blue blood (OU, Michigan, Penn State, or UCLA) could all be open, & OM starts to slide because they are so dependent on their QB & don't even a replacement that's even remotely close

Ole Miss was a 7-5 / 8-4 team last year if they played a normal schedule with their 4 normal OOC opponents. They recruited a couple of above average defensive players from juco and I’m sure that freshman DT from New Jersey will be better than the trash they have been playing with on defense. I expect they will win between 7-9 games. They will be one of the best offensive teams in the country again. Their preseason ranking Is not outrageous.

You and I finally agree on something, I think last year because OM was so improved from the previous years that everyone thought they were better than what they were...Hell, they lost to a bad LSU team and would've lost to Texas AM had they not used Covid as an excuse to take another L. At some point we have to start blaming ourselves.. Our PR dept needs to do a better job at selling and defending our programs..
and fight back when we need to .. ( The CML situation and the “fight” Are prime examples)

I didn’t say they were much better (or better at all) than us. I said their preseason ranking is not outrageous and it’s not. Not sure how anyone could think it is, outside of sheer homerism. If you don’t think Kiffin will have a good offense with what they have returning I will make whatever bet you want to make. None of that means I think we suck. I think we are a better overall team going into the year. We are set up to have an excellent year.

Actually he doesn't seem to hate OM. As a matter of fact, he's "taken" with all the myth and the Grove and all the rest of the shit they put out. Besides, he was their guest at their law school ceremony a few years ago and he's eternally grateful. OTOH, he does hate State. (And he absolutely abhors Cohen (can't say that's all bad)
