Any thoughts on this Holly Spring MS freshman Derek Fountain? Quite a few have already heard about DJ Stewart, Iverson Molinar, Tolu Smith, and Deivon Smith...now here comes another young talent on the scene.

He was our hottest player last night and Howland sits him at the 7 mins to go mark. Then puts him back in with 2. That was just plain fing stupid.

Didnt Howland ?forget? to put Woodard in a game a season or two ago.

Fountain is a nice compliment to the rest of the cast. Good spot up shooter it appears. He is long, can rebound. Not explosive off dribble and not an exceptional athlete like DJ or Smith but just a solid good player who can contribute when he plays. As he showed last night, he can on occasion have a big night if he is hot.

Can he become an all SEC guy before he leaves? Hard to say, but he has played well as a true freshman.
