For what? Exercising his free speech rights?

America tried that once but the guy paid like a $10K fine in pennies so they had to let him go

Yeah, like he ignored morality laws that have been in existence since the beginning of this country. I bet he was surprised on his first breath in the here-after (and not in a good way)!

When you drink, cuss, or have sex other than in missionary-position, you've forfeited that consideration.**

It?s funny how the right and left are just different sides of the same coin. They both want to silence or imprison you for not thinking or believing like them.

Believe it or not, Flynt said often he was a believer in Christ. I am not so arrogant in my relationship with Christ as to say mine is 100% correct and anybody who deviates from me is hell bound.

Oh, and most of those unconstitutional laws, were written in the 1950's

It was a more intellectual magazine. I would read some of it. Especially the parts that started Dear Penthouse,

Yes, when our society, as a whole, was moral. That all changed during the 1960s sexual revolution. Since then, ANYTHING goes as long as it feels good! If you think those decency laws are unconstitutional, then you have never read the documents that our forefathers drafted and signed nor have you read the Bible - in its entirety from cover to cover - you know, like you do Flynt's magazines. Judicial activism changed the decency laws!

Even from the beginning on the Mayflower - the Mayflower pact, it reads:

"Having undertaken, for the glory of God, and advancement of the Christian faith, and honor of our King and Country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of Virginia, do by these presents solemnly and mutually, in the presence of God, and one of another, covenant and combine our selves together into a civil body politic, for our better ordering and preservation and furtherance of the ends aforesaid; and by virtue hereof to enact, constitute, and frame such just and equal laws, ordinances, acts, constitutions and offices, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general good of the Colony, unto which we promise all due submission and obedience."

And if you think Christ is going to turn a blind eye to unforgiven sin or to those that cause others to sin, when he returns and judges the world, you are severely mistaken! From Matthew 5:28
"... but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Also in Jude 1:4 ESV "For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ." And from Luke 17:1-37 "And he said to his disciples, “Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea ...".

What do you think Flynt's publications promote - family unity?

Do you think that Flynt's had a divine revelation on his death bed and repented for his sins? I hope so, but scripture also tell us in Hebrews 6:5 (since you say he was a Christian) that "It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age— and then have fallen away—to be restored to repentance, because they themselves are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting Him to open shame.…"

Clearly you didn't take history at Mississippi State.

The country was perfect and just in every way until the 60's?

Ever hear of the 1920's?

Do you know how many brothels this country had during Westward Expansion?

And if you want to talk documents of our founding fathers, pick people who actually had a hand in forming our government, not a small group of bad farmers that would later burn witches.

Note that I said in previous post that "as a whole", meaning that the vast majority of Americans were moral. Yes there will always be unmoral people but today it seems to be the majority!

You apparently learned revisionist history where the liberal educators rewrote true history to serve their own self interest - the destruction of America. If you want a good concise review of US history and the Christian principles that it was founded on - in the eyes of our founding fathers, go see https://wallbuilders.com/library-2/historical-writings/.

Also if you want to see how our country has changed in the past 60 years, you need to read this short article by Curtis Bowers, Congressman from Idaho 10th district. He attended a Communist USA meeting in 1992 and his account of the meeting is stunningly alarming. I was one class away from finishing a B.A. in History from Mississippi State University.

Still have issues with how I was taught and who taught me?

You apparently learned from a congressman who has an agenda and some talk radio hosts. Because everything you are saying is BS.

It's really a supermajority opinion. In America the right gets their markets but nothing on the social issues, the left gets their rainbows but nothing on the economic issues. Once the two sides find each other and agree to drop the capitalist rainbows you neoliberals are screwed and you know it.
