Brady was the GOAT before this game was played. TB's defense won this super bowl... they were unbelievable the entire postseason

Yep. They were the tougher team in the playoffs each round. Glad to see football continue to be about toughness, blocking, and tackling.

TB Def played Smart. They contained Mahomes in the pocket and when he did scramble the DBs didnt bite. Then they crushed him.

Also I wonder if Honey Badger will get in Bradys face anymore and i loved it when Brady told the reporter to get closer because he couldn't hear him/ Take that Goodall.

I was expecting a bit more from KC's Defense, though.

KC's defense was getting flagged for what got them there. Go re-watch the Buffalo game. Tackling receivers 15 yards downfield during their routes, Chris Jones punching people......etc. All of that got called yesterday and it exposed them.

KC Had done really bad calls for sure but Tampa was better all night. End of story

Double standard check:

So does Mahome's status slip any after that performance? To me it showed he is human. He played about a C game. Yes he was on the run but he is lucky he didn't throw 2-3 more picks. Those desperation throws, one time blindly slinging it will not get it done.

Dak played a whole season on the run like that one game. Let a QB run for his life every play and see how that works out, game after game.

Mahomes just played one of the best defenses in the nfl without both his starting tackles, and we find out today that he's having surgery on that foot he hurt vs browns. I wouldn't read too much into 1 game when he's been the best player in the game the last 2+ seasons. I certainly wouldn't take any qb over him, and that's considering his mammoth contract.
