Mark Hudspeth was just hired as the Head Coach at Gulf Shores High School here in Alabama.

And to think a couple years ago folks wanted him as our head coach.

Great hire for Gulf Shores. He should be able to get folks to come there to play football and try and compete in 6A in Alabama. Shame this is what's happened to his career.

The coaching carousel can be funny. Just a few years ago, there were 2 ex-SEC head coaches coaching in Jackson, Mississippi. Mike Dubose was at Millsaps (ex-Bama head coach) and Hal Mumme was at Belhaven (ex-Kentucky head coach). Mumme then married a girl about 20 years younger and she ran for mayor of Jackson against Lumumba.
